The farm, the History and the Family Ravazzi wine cellars lay in Toscana, exactly in the surrounding lands of San Casciano dei Bagni, a prestigious spa centre in the province of Siena where they have been producing high quality wines for over 50 years. Ravazzi farm is included in the Chianti DOCG Wine name, they were built in 1956 thanks to Enio Ravazzi as a wine production and sales farm. Nowadays the 15 hectares tilled by vineyards are managed by his son Alberto and by the wife if the latter Roberta Caccioni specialized in wine and tourist domain: the welcoming activity and their care for a quality and price report inspire their efforts. THE CELLAR The new generation of the Ravazzis are the makers of the new cellar celebrated in 2005. The project, realized by the architect Monica Rossi of the Toscanaproject in San Casciano dei Bagni suggests a very modern building; the use of bricks, the red colour of Siena land, the circle shaped base and the waving roof were obtained for a better harmonization of the cellar with the surrounding hilly land. The cellar has been built up by a wide part undersoil and includes the room destined to wine production, the room for its aging and a wide patio outside destined both to grape harvesting and to events in the farm. Alberto and Roberta Ravazzi care much about the routes in the cellar and the tastings of their products matched with the typical recipes of the land and invite all to get in touch wth them to feel the emotion of a taste route in their cellar.
