The Fattoria del Cerro farm, with its 86 hectares registered in the Roll of Nobile Wine is the greatest private reality as a producer of Nobile Wine from Montepulciano (Siena province, Italia).
The width and variety of exposition of its vineyards ensure the chance to select the best grapes to produce high quality wines according to the year of production.
The Prugnolo Gentile, the basic vine for the Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG wine, is a kind of Sangiovese vine typical of that area that during the ages has been fitting both the earth and the climate typical of that area. The Nobile wine is produced in three varieties: Annata (Year or Crop) , Riserva (Vintage) and the Selection "Antica Chiusina".

Fields covered with vineyards: 170 hectares whose 86 are registered in the Roll of Nobile Wine from Montepulciano; 50 hectares are registered in the Roll of Red wine from Montepulciano, 20 hectares are registered in the Roll of Chianti Colli Senesi wine, 21 hectares are tilled with vines: Colorino, Merlot, Chardonnay.
Other productions: 13 hectares covered with olive groves- 180 hectares with wood- 241 hectares are differently sawn.
