Ceramic Sial factory was born in 1997 thanks to the 20 years experience achieved by Loretta Ferretti in other handicraft factories but above all thanks to her passion and talent.
In the heart of Toscana the factory of Loretta Ferretti, thanks to her collaborators too, keeps on giving birth to ceramic items that for many reasons result as unique and unrepeatable.
While decorating ceramic Loretta reminds of the souvenirs of a childhood spent through the hills of that Land able to transmit the undescribable sensations.
In the years Sial has become the expression of a Tuscan art where uniqueness, beauty and simplicity mark each piece as a warranty of its quality.
The relief technique ceramic underlines the basic lines of that kind of drawing. The cooking of ceramics occurs in a preheated oven at about 900° C, that is a temperature that allows the enamel used to fix permanently after painting ceramics, making the item glossy.
The pencil lines used for the drawing disappear at a high temperature and final ceramics appears in relief.
Every kitchen item (table dishes, coffee and breakfast cups, teapots or any other object) can be cleaned by the WASHING MACHINE and be put in the MICROWAVE OVEN.
The sole care to be taken is: BEFORE using an item, merge it underwater and leave it there for a night long.
