Villa Marsili, is a four star hotel, very close to the historical center of Cortona. The building, originally an ancient 15th century Church, was converted into a patrician “Palazzo” (Villa Marsili) in 1786. The recent renovation of the villa has allowed the recovery of architectural and stylistic features lost over the centuries through earlier restoration. The villa today has 26 rooms (including three suites and six deluxe) with panoramic views either over the valley or over the ancient town houses.
The rooms are all elegantly furnished with many antique period pieces and offer every comfort: Jacuzzi bath, telephone, TV (CNN World and BBC World), internet connection, air conditioning, minibar and safe.
Villa Marsili offers its guests a breakfast buffet with a rich selection of our Tuscan specialties. That's not enough…. everyday in the evening our guests may enjoy a complimentary aperitif on our garden terrace with its atmospheric view of the Valdichiana valley and the Trasimeno Lake.
