The “Degli Archi” restaurant is the last one created by the owner family. 18 years after the opening of the farm holidays and 2 years after the opening of “Il Pozzo” Winebar they have recovered the rooms on the right side of the courtyard to set the new professional house and three small dining rooms.
The halls
The first two halls after the main entrance have been decorated by renaissance motifs by Flavia’s know-how and they are furnished with chandeliers and furnitures of the family.
The third hall is recovered by the ancient kitchen of the palace in which all has remained as it has always been such as the wide fireplace the great grey marble table and the ancient sink. Here they use to lay the table with small tablecloths whose motifs are inspired by the classic Tuscan tea cloth not to cover completely the table plan.
From the kitchen you enter the porch “under the “arches” from which the name of the Restaurant has been drawn.
“The Arches” – violins – appear even in the brandmark that comes from a 1700 dated frieze of a house in Prague. The idea was accepted even because since a few years they have been hosting concerts of young musicians in the hall at the noble floor of the palace with chamber concerts as string quartet.
The menu includes traditional Tuscan meals such as handmade Pici, Tuscan salami and ham, pecorino cheese selections that cannot miss and more creative recipes but always with season products. That’s why the menu changes often.
They suggest even thematic soirées: special menu matching a particular wine or “regional” menus or traditional ones durino the Easter time, New year’s Eve or during the oil feast or the organic agricolture and natural products week.
