The Winebar Restaurant “Il Vicolo” lays in the first square as you enter the small and impressive medieval village of Civitella in Val di Chiana (Arezzo province) where a nice terrace allow tourist and customers of the Restaurant to enjoy the landscape of the valley that look towards Arezzo city. After a radical recover of inside rooms and a restyling of the way to practice hospitality and culinary art along with matching suggestions of wine products the Restaurant sees Mirko and Leonardo, two young men leaders of the activity. Leonardo lives and works in the kitchen with their mother to prepare tasty recipes and take them to tables showing them in such a way as to exalt the flavours by caring about their matching with interesting wines.
The Menu
The recipes in the menu are realized with products that follow the natural succession of the seasons enriched in love and passion while creating them and showing them to their well accepted guest as better as they can.
The tasty recipes are created with natural ingredients found by Leonardo and his mother such as mixed spring herbs and salades or mushrooms, sparrow-grasses and truffles or wild fruits. The quality of homemade pasta and made daily just for their own guests is worth of notice.
The wines
The cellar cared by Mirko needs attention in preservation of bottles and in their most cared choice according to the dish chosen by their guests. An attention that the cellar-man himself can transfer to the imagination of those who come to sit by the table and to the heart bu even to memory...
In fact though every wine is chosen so to balance perfectly the consistence and the taste of tasted recipe, the one as much as the other remain in the heart and in the memory of that guest who will not be late in coming back to live a nice emotion again...but Paganini won't replay!
